As you rightly stated, the more I will get a chance to work on prod environments the more I will learn.
My current position is absolutely not allowing me to do that 
and hence I am trying hard to get into the mainstream ASAP.
Anyways, thanks for the links on VCP-DV, which I have just completed in Feb.
